| The Robe |

This is the first in my Christ centered art series. The soldier had seen many battles, faced countless enemies and had tasted death, yet on this day on Calvary, he had cast lots for the robe of a young Jewish rabbi condemned to the cross. The dying mans words “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do” seared into his soul. Who was this man? What had they done this day? Size: 24" x 30"
